Lodge Burns Dundonald No.1759 celebrated 40 years by hosting a meeting to confer the Fellowcraft Degree. The work of the evening was carried out by the Masters of the Sponsor Lodges St. John (Kilwinning) Kilmarnock No.22, Lodge Troon Navigation No.86, Lodge St. David (Tarbolton) Mauchline No.133 and Lodge St. James No.135. At a busy Regular Meeting held on 17 October, visitors were received from Dundonald, Mauchline, Dunbartonshire, Gloucestershire and Antrim. WSW Bro. John Shirkie PM exemplified the Fellowcraft degree, Bro. Archie Chalmers PPGM presented the Lodge with a card and a bottle from the late Bro. Sam Peden HM and the Lodge received their annual visit from the Provincial Grand Lodge of Ayrshire. A great night had by all.
